Glencoe Marathon Gathering

Ruskie ladies have had a busy weekend ........very enjoyable
Saturday: We left Callander at 11am to help with the registration of the half marathon and the full marathon at the Nevis Centre, Fort William..................stopping at the Kingshouse Hotel, Glencoe for lunch.
Sunday: One car left at 5.30am to drive to Kinlochleven to help and support the runners of the half marathon which started at Kinlochleven and the the full marathon which started at Fort William and came through Kinlochleven.........we encouraged the runners/gave out snacks, water etc/and took a note of their numbers as they passed. We then made our way back to Glencoe to help with the finish of the two marathons. The other car from Ruskie left Callander and went straight to the Glencoe Ski Slope.
Over six hundred people registered for this event - it takes place in one of the most beautiful scenic areas of Scotland - maybe we didn't get the best views yesterday in the rain!
