"Music is the art of thinking with sounds"

President, Anne Artis welcomed members and friends to the October meeting. The hall was filled with music as the ladies enjoyed the playing and singing of The Mondaylele's, Ukulele Group. Many of the Ukulele Group knew Ruskie members and it was great to have a catch-up and renew friendships over tea.

The Mondaylele's played and sang a very wide selection of music and the audience were encouraged to sing along............if we had more room we might even have got up for a dance..........great 'Golden Oldies'.

October is Ruskie's birthday month and it was a super way to celebrate.

Cups presented: Most points gained over the year for the monthly competitions: Pamela Deans.

The member gaining most points at Doune and Dunblane Show, Catriona Burnett.

A delicious supper was provided by Eleanor Muir, Heather Millar and Vivien Leckie.

Thank you to Pamela Deans for the 90th flag. It was real cheery evening - thank you Mondaylele's for taking the time to come to Ruskie.
