The speaker for the evening was Margaret Lear of Plants with Purpose of Bankfoot. Margaret told the ladies about the benefits of culinary, medicinal, wildlife and edible plants all grown without chemicals or artificial fertilisers. Margaret brought along several plants with her and it was fascinating to learn how far back in history their healing powers were recognised. Plants with Purpose grow unusual herbs and purposeful plants.
